Back to the clinician workshop
For parents & caregivers

You're in the right place for your child — just not in this workshop.

The AAP Iron Guidelines workshop you came from is built specifically for clinicians who see children in practice. It focuses on guideline implementation, ferritin screening logistics, and practice-level workflows — the kind of detail that isn't useful (and isn't meant) for families. We're glad you're being proactive about your child's iron, and we want to send you somewhere genuinely helpful instead.

When to talk to your child's clinician

If you're worried about your child's iron levels, fatigue, feeding, or growth, the best next step is a conversation with your pediatrician or family medicine team. They can order the right labs (including ferritin when indicated) and give you guidance tailored to your child. This page offers general education, not individual medical advice.
